Destiny Church & LWAAC

Poverty is rife in Albania and, in particular, in Guatemala. The organisation LWAAC is trying to alleviate the suffering there, at least to some extent, through sponsorship schemes and many other projects. You can find out more about the specific projects and programmes on the LWAAC website.
Would you also like to ‘change the world’? Step by step, or child by child? Then get involved – we’d be delighted to have your support for one or more of the projects we’ve launched:
Relief supplies for Albania

End of August 2026
We're collecting again ! At the end of August, the Alliance Mission truck will be visiting us for the second time this year to load up on aid supplies and transport them directly to Albania. The furniture collected in the spring was used, among other things, to furnish a shelter for homeless families.
You can find out exactly what is needed and all the details under the "Needed Items" button - with our focus this time being particularly on outdoor/indoor play equipment for kids and teens.
Please only collect and donate items that are in very good and clean condition – we want to bless the people there. Important : If possible, the aid supplies must be packed in banana boxes. You can get these in almost any supermarket.
Delivery of relief supplies
For questions and to arrange the drop-off of relief supplies, it's best to contact the local leaders of LoC (Love Our City) directly. You can speak to them during the service or reach them by email.

Collection of relief supplies for Albania
March 26

On March 26, 2026, as in the previous year, a 40-ton truck from the Allianzmission (FeG Auslandshilfe) visited us to collect the relief supplies gathered at all our locations for the LWAAC organization in Albania. Thanks to the numerous helpers, we were able to load everything into the truck in just under three hours: 100 banana boxes (clothing, household goods, toys, baby food, towels, shoes, etc.), beds, living room furniture, kitchen furniture, office furniture, small electrical appliances (toasters, espresso machines, irons), and much more.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated items and helped with sorting, packing, labeling, organizing, and loading the truck! We would also like to thank Allianzmission eV , who are transporting the aid supplies to Albania for us.
Due to the current situation, transportation costs to the country, which is approximately 1,300 km away, have risen sharply. You are welcome to support Allianzmission eV (international aid) with a donation – this would be a great help! Please remember to include " Destiny Church - LWAAC Albania " in the payment reference so that the donation can be correctly allocated.
Thank you very much!
School supplies for Albania

A few years ago, thanks to donations from some Rosenheim companies, we were able to send school supplies and clothing for children and young people to Albania.
Thank you to our teens for their tireless efforts on this project!

Sponsorships

For just €30 a month, you can sponsor a child or a needy/disabled adult in Albania or Guatemala and change a life! Or you can support one of many local projects with a donation of any amount.
The poverty prevalent in Albania and especially in Guatemala is almost unimaginable for us. However, a donation of €30, which seems relatively small to us, makes a huge difference for the children and families there. You provide food (food parcels in Albania / hot meals in Guatemala), medical care, community, support, and hope through the sharing of God's word.
All information about the organization " Living Water - Adopt A Child" (LWAAC), the sponsorship program, the local projects, potential sponsored children, and many touching stories and background information can be found on the LWAAC website:
Feel free to approach us before or after the service, and we can help you find a child or project to sponsor. Or you can send us a short email:
Mission trips
to Albania & Guatemala

A mission trip can be life-changing – both for you and for your sponsored child! Seeing how fortunate we are and the impoverished conditions in which other people grow up and live can change one's perspective on life. But it's also a profound experience for the sponsored children to see, "I am not forgotten, I am seen," and they draw new strength and hope to cope with their difficult daily lives.
During your trip, you will not only have the opportunity to get to know your own sponsored child, but you will also accompany others from your group to visit their sponsored children and families. This will give you insights into their lives as well as into the work of LWAAC, as you will, for example, help with distributing food packages, assisting with food distribution, or – if you wish – giving a testimony or a short presentation at the various meetings or church services.
If you are interested in a mission trip, you are welcome to register for an initial information meeting without obligation:

Christmas Carols

For several years now, our team "Destiny – Voices of Hope" has been traveling around during Advent, singing Christmas carols in nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and hospices. We do this free of charge, of course, because it's important to us to bring a little joy and hope to people who may be going through a difficult time, who feel lonely, or who would simply appreciate a bit of a change of pace.We would be delighted to receive a voluntary donation for the organization "LivingWater-AdopedA". Child".
Newsletter
LWAAC sends out newsletters at least twice a year about events and progress in Albania and Guatemala (as a sponsor you will automatically receive them by email).
Here you can find all the newsletters since we started supporting LWAAC as a church - each with an article about the Destiny Church.
