We invite all men 18 years and older to participate in an overnight church camping retreat October 3-5, 2024.

Cost: 20€ per Person per day.

If you stay the entire time it will cost 40€.

We encourage you to take a day off on Friday (bridge day after the German national holiday on October 3).

You are also welcome to attend just a few days or during the day and sleep at home.

For this special event, we are planning a men's challenge with several fun games as part of a daily championship. There will be several BBQ grills and smokers to learn about and enjoy BBQ.

Important: We need to charge 20€ per person per day to participate in the event as we provide drinks and food. Registration is required so that we can plan and buy enough supplies for the event.

The current planning status:

Thursday, October 3

- In the morning (starting at 10am) we will begin setting up the tents and setting up the campsite.

- The first games will start around 2pm.

- Delicious carnitas for dinner.

- After dark, we sit around the campfire and enjoy an inspiring word from one of our pastors. We sit together, share men's stories, enjoy music and more games. Carve your first hiking or barbecue stick. Bring your favorite carving knife!

- Crowning Champion of the Day.

Friday, October 4

- Hearty breakfast from the plancha plate.

- Enjoy the day at the campsite with more games.

- Barbecue for lunch.

- BBQ for dinner.

- After dark, we sit around the campfire and enjoy an inspiring word from one of our pastors.

- Crowning of the day Champion.

- Sharing more stories, experiences, music and games.

Saturday, October 5

- Breakfast at the campsite.

- Take down the tents, enjoy the day together

- Leave the campsite around 3 pm.

The campsite has toilets, showers and a cooking area. We have a fridge and cool boxes to keep things cool.

What to bring:

- outdoor shoes

- Tent

- Air mattress

- Blanket on the mattress

- Sleeping bag (it can get cold at night in early October)

- Breakfast and other meals if the above does not suit you

- Snacks and drinks for you

- Outdoor games, if you have any

- Weatherproof clothing (from sun, rain to cold)

- Nail a 12cm nail into the wooden post with a masonry hammer

- Throw a tree trunk

- Rock Paper Scissors jumping

- Axe throwing
